DITA Users Support Options

We offer multiple kinds of support

We offer a number of tools for members to collaborate with one another and with DITA Mentors to provide mutual support.

Here are links to the VNC clients and servers for Windows and Macintosh platforms.

To arrange an online screen-sharing support session:
  1. Go to the shop and purchase your support (in half-hour increments)
  2. Call 617-876-5676 or email us to arrange a time for your support session
  3. You will be given a call-in telephone number and a password for your support login
  4. (Others may join the session, using the same password)
  5. A few minutes before the scheduled session time, download the appropriate VNC client from the list above
  6. When prompted for a server address, enter support.ditausers.org
  7. Call the support telephone number (usually 617-876-5676)
  8. When they tell you to, enter your password
  9. The support team has just a few seconds to accept your screen-share request
  10. When they accept it, the support screen appears in a window on your computer
