See our Help files for DITA Users (opens in new window).
In the meantime, here is a quick introduction.
When you join DITA Users, a workspace folder is created for you at
http://www.ditanews.com/Users/Guest.
Your DITA files are located in a dita subfolder. Navigate there to see your DITA Manager.
http://www.ditanews.com/Users/Guest/dita.
The DITA Manager is an AJAX interface that lists all your projects. It provides action links to open input files or ditamaps for editing, and links to build (process) ditamaps.
Projects include your input files, build files (each with an action link to rebuild them), and output files.
You must login to edit your files. If you simply navigate to your workspace folder, you will be challenged to login.
Input files have a .dita extension. When you open them, they will open in the DITA Storm editor.
Build actions display the build progress. When the build is complete, a link to the build log is available.
Output files show the date of the last build. There will be one subfolder for each output type (e.g., html and pdf). Help output appears as a book in the DITA Users Infocenter.

In your workspace folder you will find copies of the example source/input files arranged in projects.
(e.g., Comstar User Guide.)
The subfolders of your workspace folder are arranged like this in the File Manager view: [Please don't confuse your source input files folder with the option to edit in source mode (XML).]

The browser-based File Manager shows only one level of hierarchy at a time.
To drill down, double-click a folder or select it (click once)and click Open in the Directories controls.
Here is the workspace folder for the user named demo1.
